The NTDs Youth Organization, a general incorporated association, is hosting the Second Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) Contest as a member of the World NTD Day Japan Executive Committee. This contest aims to deepen the understanding of NTDs among students living in Japan and provide an opportunity for them to consider how they, Japanese companies, and organizations can contribute to NTD control efforts. An award ceremony is held annually on January 30, World NTD Day.
The Global NTDs Youth Platform is a collaborative global initiative that connects, empowers, and amplifies the voices of young people working to eliminate Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) worldwide. Across regions and communities, youth are leading impactful efforts in NTD advocacy, research, health promotion, and community engagement. Yet many of these initiatives remain fragmented or under-recognized. The Global NTDs Youth Platform was created to bridge this gap—by providing a shared digital space where youth-led action becomes visible, connected, and strengthened.
