In September 2025, I participated in “ECTMIH 2025” held in Hamburg, Germany as a member of the Youth Initiative. I presented on the theme of youth roles in the NTDs field and discussed strengthening international youth networks and directions for collaboration.

NTD NGO Network 2025

September 30th - October 2nd
(Kampala, Uganda)
In September 2025, Kondo from our organization participated in the NTDs NGO Network 2025 (NNN2025) held in Kampala, Uganda. The theme was “Sustainable Innovations for Impact.” New approaches utilizing AI and digital technologies were introduced, and youth-led workshops were also actively conducted.

TICAD9 Official Thematic Event

August 20th(Pacifico Yokohama, Kanagawa)
The official TICAD9 thematic event “The Future of Global Health: The Next Generation's Impact on World Health” was held at Pacifico Yokohama. Representatives from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, WHO, and Gavi, alongside young people from Japan, Kenya, and Tanzania, took the stage to discuss Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). 168 participants from 34 countries joined online and on-site, selecting the “Touch 10K Challenge” as a concrete action toward 2030.

NTD Program Manager Meeting

April 15th - 17th(Lomé, Togo)
Representative Director Todoroki participated in the “NTD Program Managers Meeting” held in Lomé, Togo. At this WHO Africa Region-led meeting, it was emphasized that sustainable funding models and cross-regional collaboration are essential to accelerate NTD elimination, especially amid rapidly changing funding environments such as the suspension of USAID funding.

Policy exchange forum by the Liberal Democratic Party Youth Bureau

April 10th(Nagata-cho, Tokyo)
The NTDs Youth Association presented policy recommendations for advancing NTD control at a policy exchange forum co-hosted by the policy co-creation platform “PoliPoli” and the Liberal Democratic Party Youth Bureau.
