About NTDs Youth Organization

We Are a Powerful Modern Team Beyond the Border

We are a youth organization focused on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), a group of 21 diseases that affect 1.6 billion people worldwide, mainly in tropical regions. With the goal of eradicating NTDs, we work with domestic and international partners involved in NTDs to raise awareness of the importance of this issue and engage in advocacy activities (policy proposals).

Neglected Tropical Diseases Contest

The NTDs Youth Association, a general incorporated association, is hosting the Second Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) Contest as a member of the World NTD Day Japan Executive Committee. This contest aims to deepen students’ understanding of NTDs and provide them with an opportunity to consider how they, Japanese companies, and organizations can contribute to NTD control efforts. An award ceremony is held annually on January 30, World NTD Day.
