<Business Description>

“Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) Contest”: A project aimed at raising awareness of NTDs among young people, mainly junior high and high school students.
This is the third year the contest has been held. Click here to see last year’s contest.
The contest is held as an event related to World NTD Day.
The mission of this internship is to plan and execute measures aimed at increasing the number of applicants among junior high and high school students.

<Main Duties>

  • Listing target schools
  • Planning and implementation of outreach activities for target schools *Quality checks will be conducted in advance
  • Planning and implementation of outreach classes *Quality checks will be conducted in advance

●Application Requirements

<Education> Currently enrolled in university or holds a bachelor’s degree (*)

<Skills>

  • Able to use basic web tools such as Mail, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (*)
  • Able to communicate using Google Chat and Google Meet (*)
  • Experience in an educational setting (preferred)
  • Experience as a lecturer (preferred)

<Language>

  • Japanese: Native level (*)
  • English: Operational proficiency at CEFR B2 level or above (preferred)
    *Examples: TOEFL iBT 72 points or above, IELTS 5.5 points or above, TOEIC R&L 785 points or above

<Other>

  • Possesses basic business etiquette for reporting, consulting, and communication (*)
  • Interested in NTDs and the activities of this program, and able to participate with enthusiasm (*)
  • Ability to communicate appropriately with regular members during the internship period (*)
  • Possession of business etiquette such as exchanging business cards and writing emails (preferred)

<Salary> No salary will be paid for internship activities.

<Activity expenses> Expenses incurred during activities will be reimbursed (subject to consultation).

<Other>

  • An internship certificate will be issued upon completion of the internship.
  • After completion, it is possible to continue activities as a member of the steering committee (subject to consultation).
